About the Volunteer Ministers Program
In today’s world it can be difficult to know whether a promise for help will really work as promoted. People are so often flooded with advertisements for pills, creams, books and advice that promise the solutions we search for, but in the end deliver nothing at all – or worse yet, even add more misery to the problems we face.
So how does one know what works and what doesn’t? How do you know who to trust or believe? That was the question us folks at Yellow Shirts asked years ago, and our search began. We looked high and low for answers to the problems that all of us face everyday. We wanted simple solutions, ones we could use easily and pass on to others. We didn’t care if the answers came from an “authority” or not, we only cared that they worked.
Fortunately our search led us to the Volunteer Ministers program. The Volunteer Ministers (VMs) are a group of people just like you and me, people who strive every day to live better lives and enjoy helping others. We found the VMs had simple solutions that were easy to use – workable help for the common problems we all encounter at one time or another, no matter who we are or what we believe.
For more than twenty five years the Volunteer Minister program has crossed national, racial, political and religious boundaries in more than 150 countries, bringing mankind together by helping people of all walks of life deal with their problems and restore true dignity and happiness to their lives. The Scientology VMs, equipped with specialized knowledge, know how to deliver effective help to others in times of crisis as well.
The Volunteer Minister program was established in the mid-1970s by L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the Scientology religion. Mr. Hubbard, well known and acknowledged for his work as a humanitarian, offered these solutions to the world in response to the rising crime and violence in our society. His goal was to provide every man with simple tools for helping his fellows, practical solutions based on understanding and compassion rather than false hopes and blame. The techniques he offered are available for use by Scientologists and non-Scientologists alike. They are simple to understand and easy to apply.
To us at Yellow Shirts the technology made sense and so we gave it a try. What we found was that it worked for us – over and over again. As we said earlier, people have been misled in the past. No one wants help or solutions forced on them for obvious reason. The solutions here at this site are tried and true, but please don’t take our word for it, use them yourself. You be the judge.
